Look for exiting news for Gamefest in the next month. You'll be surprised and excited!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support the Fest this year! KHS HOSA raised around $1700 over the weekend. The wonderful kids who served you gamer food will use that toward attending valuable conferences that will prepare them to be the health care professionals of the future. Thanks to Vibe, Game On, and ACME comics for supporting the cause and keeping the energy up with the great products and events. Thanks to Cameron Iwan for the Dominion Tournament and clever Wits and Wagers events. Thanks to Ryan Foxworthy for organizing... a huge WH40K. And again, Josh, Lindsay, and Ashley: Sooooo glad you guys could make the trip. If we have to wait until next year to see you it will be too long. Your "event" Saturday night will go down in the books as THE best in Gamefest history. To all of the board gamers, my peeps, who drove from Omaha, Lincoln, Kansas, North Platte and all points in between, it was great to have you back--seeing you coming back each year means we are doing something right and it is a pleasure to game with you all. And above all, thanks to Steve, Steve, Adam (and his better hall, Angela), Chad, Keith (the Golden Ticket idea and design was awesome!), and my awesome wife Joele for all of the support and help both before and during the Fest. When things went well, it was because of all of you.
